Checkpoint: sugar is fully wetted before heat ramps.
Intro
Simple syrup is one of those things that sounds fancy but is actually about as complicated as boiling water.
Yet somehow people still manage to screw it up.
Granulated sugar does not dissolve well in cold liquids. Cocktails, iced coffee, lemonade, and various other questionable life choices therefore rely on simple syrup - a pre-dissolved sugar solution that mixes instantly into cold drinks.
That is it.
Two ingredients. Heat. Done.
But because we are not monsters, we are also including two additional variations:
- Spicy Simple Syrup - the fun one
- Liquid Death - the one that makes your friends question your judgment
Make a jar. Keep it in the fridge. Feel like a cocktail wizard.
